The Training Team is Sneddens’ workplace training business and it makes us the only freight forwarder in New Zealand with a dedicated training arm.
It exists for a simple reason. Compliance isn’t a side function for us; it’s the core of moving freight. Every shipment passes through customs, biosecurity and dangerous goods requirements where getting it right isn’t optional. After more than 50 years of living those standards, we started teaching them.
Today The Training Team delivers practical, nationally recognised workplace training forklift, dangerous goods, freight handling, first aid and more to businesses across the country. The same expertise that clears your cargo now trains the people who handle it.

Most training providers teach compliance from a manual. We teach it from the freight floor. As Sneddens’ training arm, our trainers bring decades of real freight, customs and dangerous goods experience to every course the standards we teach are the ones we work to every day.
We train how it suits you. Come to our Auckland facility for scheduled courses, or have us deliver on-site at your workplace, training your team on your own equipment and in your own environment. In-class theory, practical assessment, or a mix of both built around your operation, not ours.
